David has more than three decades of experience working in the tech sector during which time he has implemented media and analyst relations programs for some of the world’s leading tech companies, including Cisco, Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Oracle and Salesforce. In more recent years, he has also worked with several home-grown Australian start-ups managing their in-house marketing functions and supporting the drive to an IPO.
David specialises in removing tech speak jargon by developing content which is easily consumable for client audiences and delivered through media relations programs and social channels, resulting in positive impact and drive sales. David works closely with the Sefiani technology team and clients and also continues to service his existing clients through his own consultancy, Bass Public Relations. He is also a recipient of the annual David Hellaby Award for Best Media.
David has a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval and Modern History from the University of Birmingham and a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from the Barbican College in London.
