CHALLENGE: Following substantial investment in Hamilton Island by its owners, the Oatley family, including in its luxury resort , qualia, and the Yacht Club Villas, Sefiani’s task was to create a compelling proposition for high wealth individuals to purchase the Yacht Club Villas and enjoy a topical island lifestyle.
STRATEGY: By leveraging and amplifying the Island’s unique assets and events, we developed three-day, invitation-only itineraries for key lifestyle, travel and property media. The program provided opportunities to experience the Island’s premium luxury properties first-hand, including the Yacht Club Villas and the qualia luxury resort as well as local restaurants and a myriad of activities and unique experiences.
IMPACT: The Hamilton Island Yacht Club Villas, whose owners have access to qualia, were featured prominently in high-profile business, property and lifestyle media such as The AFR Magazine, The Australian – Luxury Insider and Luxury Travel magazine as well as the prestige property sections in The AFR and The Australian. Since launch, all 35 of the Yacht Club Villas have been sold and occupancy across Hamilton Island’s premium properties increased by more than 20%.
