Sefiani is proud to have one of the PR profession’s mostly highly regarded and active internship programs. Our program offers a number of unpaid internships each year to students whose degrees require them to take on an internship in a suitable organisation.

As part of an internship, students get an invaluable insight into the workings of a communications agency, and a chance to gain hands-on communications experience in a supportive team environment.

Position: Account Manager
Location: Sydney CBD office

We are looking for an Account Manager who has a minimum of 3 years’ B2B/corporate agency experience. The successful candidate will work primarily across client accounts in the property, education, professional and financial services sectors, so experience in any of these areas will be an advantage. A good working knowledge of social media is also desired, as well as a confident, bright and self-motivated personality. We’re looking for someone with:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to turn around clear, concise written materials in tight time frames.
  • Good media contacts and a track record of achieving targeted, high quality media coverage for a range of corporate clients.
  • An innovative approach to traditional and social media strategies, with experience executing integrated campaigns.
  • An ability to provide support to new business initiatives.
  • A positive, can-do attitude to delight clients.

With the support of an account team, you will have responsibility for supporting the delivery of successful public relations campaigns and activities for clients, as well as contributing to a positive and supportive team environment and work culture.
