We’re hiring! PR Account Executive/Senior Account Executive

We’re looking for a communications professional with at least two years’ agency experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. As part of this role you will have the opportunity to work on environmental and social sustainability communications, a rapidly growing part of our business. Additionally, we commit to supporting causes we care about and recently won the CommsCon Pro Bono Campaign of the Year.

Sefiani is a leading, award-winning independent strategic communications agency which has helped to build, enhance and protect brands and corporate reputations for more than 20 years. We offer a broad mix of client work across global brands, local disruptors, profit-for-purpose and not-for-profit organisations. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across both corporate and consumer brand communications. Sefiani clients include L’Oréal Australia, Expedia’s Stayz, EY (Ernst & Young), CrowdStrike, DoorDash, 3M, and more.  We also provide communications support to Australia for UNHCR, WelcomeMat, ADHD Australia and Special Olympics.

With a strong focus on the professional development of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn from our senior specialists in the areas that interest you – whether it be strategy, creative, content creation or issues and crisis management.

The expertise you have, that we’ll help develop:

  • 2+ years’ experience preferably in an agency environment
  • You have exceptional media relations skills, know how to craft a great story and build positive relationships with journalists across mainstream and specialist media
  • Experience delivering integrated campaigns across earned, paid and social channels
  • You are an excellent writer and captivating storyteller
  • You think smart and act fast, take initiative and bring proactive ideas to the table
  • You are curious, confident and have a can-do attitude
