Sefiani celebrates ten years of success

This month Sefiani Communications Group celebrates its tenth birthday following its founding on 1 December 1999.  Current staff, partners and alumni came together at Sydney’s Ocean Room at Circular Quay to celebrate the occasion.

Many sentiments were shared on the night with a consistent theme: Sefiani is a special place to work with a team of smart, professional employees who love what they do, and this has been reflected in the company’s growth and success over the past decade.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director Robyn Sefiani said: “Tonight we celebrate the company’s 10th year – we have a great team, great clients and a successful company with a fine reputation of which we can be extremely proud.”

This year has been a particularly good year for Sefiani with the addition of blue-chip clients including St.George Bank, Qatar Airways, AMP Capital Shopping Centres, HCF and Hotels.com.  Sefiani also won four prestigious local, regional and global awards for outstanding work in financial communications, for its merger communications work for Manchester Unity and HCF.

Sefiani staff members were also very active in pro bono and charitable pursuits, supporting Movember, Special Olympics, 40K Home Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, St.George Foundation, OneSight Foundation, The Smith Family, Barnardos, The Salvation Army and BoysTown.

“The current Sefiani team is a fabulous group and I thank you all for the great work you do for our clients and for the fabulous team spirit evident every day in the Sefiani office.  I love the way we share our knowledge, celebrate our successes, and support one another – it’s what makes Sefiani a very special place to work,” said Robyn.

“I would like to thank all those who have contributed to, or supported Sefiani since 1999 and I look forward to many more great years ahead together,” she added.

A second celebration is planned for early 2010 to mark the tenth anniversary with clients.
