Sefiani grows mo’s for Movember

Five Sefiani male staffers will be sporting an upper lip growth for the month of November as they do their bit to raise awareness of prostate cancer and male depression through Movember. From 1 November through 30 November, more than 100,000 Australian men will ditch the razor to help these causes, including Sefiani’s Don Takaya, Hugo Shanahan, Dylan Malloch, Roger Christie and Rod Jago as part of ‘Los Bigotes de Sefiani’.
To encourage its borderline-hairless participants, Sefiani is donating $1,000 to the team in the hopes that their sporadic facial hairs can collectively come together to grow something special for this worthy cause. Don Takaya, Team Captain, said he hopes the team can raise $5,000 by the end of Movember.
“Many of us know someone who has suffered from prostate cancer or depression, and we are pleased to be involved in the significant efforts to increase awareness of these issues. I’m proud that Sefiani is supporting us – through the thick hairs and the thin,” Don said.
These will be the first moustaches for Roger, Rod, Hugo and Dylan, while Don has previously grown something awkward and pointy above his lip around this time last year. Eighty-three per cent of the firm believes the quintuplet can grow significant resemblances of moustaches, while 50 per cent said they may even not be embarrassed to be seen in public with them.
While the supporting image is the ‘before’ shot of the team, the firm will post an ‘after’ picture following the conclusion of Movember, to illustrate the lengthy (figuratively, not literally) journey the five moustaches will go through.
