Adam Bell
Senior Consultant
After nearly a decade as a journalist and political advisor, Adam has gained some valuable insight into the nexus of influence that exists between the media, government and business.
His career in journalism began with the Cumberland Courier stable of suburban newspapers in Sydney where he covered local politics and current affairs for a number of mastheads, including The Wentworth Courier. Adam began as a work experience reporter and was promoted to one of the group’s youngest ever editors within two years.
At News Limited, Adam wrote for The Sunday Telegraph for more than three years covering federal and state politics, transport, property and the environment
Most recently, as Press Secretary to the former NSW Attorney General, John Hatzistergos, Adam spent two years leading the office’s media strategy and interface. Running the Attorney’s media office demanded a deep understanding of many highly sensitive political, industrial, financial, legal and social issues covered in the media on a daily basis.
Through his experience in the media and a ministerial office, Adam offers an informed perspective on the key drivers of influence within government and the media.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Business (Communications) from the Queensland University of Technology and is reading his postgraduate studies in journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney. In his spare time, Adam can be found riding the mountain bike trails of Ourimbah and the Blue Mountains and exploring the surf breaks on the NSW South Coast.
