Giving back to the community
Sefiani has a ‘giving back’ philosophy, where we offer our professional skills pro bono, or at a significantly reduced cost, to charitable and non-for-profit organisations selected by our staff.
We also actively support a number of organisations through ongoing workplace giving programs, including The Smith Family, Kids Helpline, The Wayside Chapel, Barnardos and Lifeline.

Special Olympics Australia
Since 2000, Sefiani has worked pro-bono for Special Olympics Australia, which provides organised sporting programs to more than 4,500 Australians with an intellectual disability. Sefiani has supported this organisation with services to generate media coverage and community awareness, and secure valuable Government assistance. Robyn Sefiani sits on the Special Olympics Australia Board.
Australia for UNHCR
Australia for UNHCR was established in 2000 as part of UNHCR’s global fundraising network. Its mission is to “provide life changing humanitarian support to refugees and other displaced and stateless people who come under the care and protection of the UN Refugee Agency”. Sefiani provides extensive communications counsel to the organisation, which assists more than 43 million displaced people around the world.
OneSight
OneSight is an award-winning charitable initiative of Luxottica Group. It has extended vision care and eyewear free of charge to more than seven million people in needy communities worldwide since 1988. Sefiani has supported the initiative since 2004.
40K Foundation Australia
Sefiani provides pro-bono public relations support for this youth-led, Australian not-for-profit organisation that works in joint venture projects to reduce poverty in developing communities around the world. 40K’s successful maiden project was the construction of a new school in Bangalore, completed in October 2010.

Seeing is Believing
Seeing is Believing is a program of Standard Chartered Bank to help restore sight to underprivileged people around the world. Their charity initiative, ‘Flight for Sight’, saw adventurer Miles Hilton-Barber become the first blind pilot to fly halfway across the world in a micro-light aircraft to raise funds for the prevention of blindness in developing countries. Sefiani handled all media relations during the Australian leg of Miles’ incredible adventure.
Bonnie Babes Foundation
The Bonnie Babes Foundation is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organisation that extends support to those affected by miscarriage, stillbirth or premature birth. Sefiani has assisted the group lift public awareness of these issues through initiatives such as the Pride of the Nation book, released to raise funds for Bonnie Babes.
